Volantis raises $88 million to connect AI and memory chips

San Francisco-based semiconductor startup Volantis has secured $88 million in venture capital to address the bottleneck between AI computing and memory chips. Using technology already common in iPhones, the startup aims to speed up AI coding tasks by next year. The funding round includes investments from industry veterans Naveen Rao and Anthropic researcher Sholto Douglas, among others.
