Stock Market Close: Sensex drops 571 points, Nifty slips to 22,422

Indian stock markets extended their decline for the fourth consecutive session on Thursday. The BSE Sensex closed 571 points lower, while the Nifty 50 finished at 22,422, down by 198 points. Sector-wise, Nifty Auto took a hit, falling 3%, while the Nifty IT index bucked the trend to close higher. Broader market indices, Midcap and Smallcap, also saw significant declines.

गुरुवार को भारतीय शेयर बाजार में लगातार चौथे दिन गिरावट दर्ज की गई। बीएसई सेंसेक्स 571 अंक गिरकर बंद हुआ, जबकि निफ्टी 50 198 अंकों की गिरावट के साथ 22,422 पर रहा। ऑटो सेक्टर के शेयरों में 3% की गिरावट दिखी, जबकि आईटी सेक्टर ने बढ़त बनाई। इसके अलावा, मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप सूचकांकों में भी भारी गिरावट देखी गई।
