Silicon Valley startup CScale secures $145 million for AI networking

CScale, a Silicon Valley startup, has raised $145 million in venture capital with backing from industry giants Nvidia and Intel. The company is developing advanced optical technology to replace copper links inside AI data-centre servers with fibre-optic connections. The firm intends to begin shipping its specialized networking chips by 2028 to improve data center efficiency.
