Sensex crashes 1,280 points, Nifty hits 22,200 intraday

The Indian stock market witnessed a sharp decline on Thursday, with the Sensex tumbling 1,045 points and hitting a new 2026 low. Nifty also dropped 310 points during the session. Analysts attributed the crash to October rate hike fears, low liquidity, high oil prices, persistent FII selling, and an upcoming long weekend, with auto and metal stocks leading the losses.

गुरुवार को भारतीय शेयर बाजार में भारी बिकवाली देखी गई, जिससे सेंसेक्स 1,045 अंक गिरकर 2026 के निचले स्तर पर पहुंच गया। निफ्टी भी 310 अंक फिसल गया। बाजार में इस गिरावट के पीछे अक्टूबर में ब्याज दरें बढ़ने का डर, कम नकदी, कच्चे तेल की उच्च कीमतें और विदेशी निवेशकों की निरंतर बिकवाली को मुख्य कारण माना जा रहा है।
