Business Standard ·

Indian companies successfully raised a record $25 billion in equity during the first half of the fiscal year, defying broader market volatility. According to PRIME Database Group, fundraising jumped 75% year-on-year, with mainboard IPOs alone securing Rs 94,205 crore. Listing gains also improved significantly, increasing to 19% compared to 7% in the previous year's corresponding period.
