Andhra Pradesh and PanIIT propose ₹500 crore deeptech venture fund

The Andhra Pradesh government and PanIIT Alumni India have proposed a ₹500-crore venture fund to support at least 25 deeptech startups by 2030. The initiative aims to leverage the IIT alumni network for R&D and manufacturing, with half of the portfolio companies expected to establish operations in the state, focusing on areas like AI, quantum technologies, and semiconductors.
आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार और PanIIT एलुमनाई इंडिया ने 2030 तक 25 डीपटेक स्टार्टअप्स का समर्थन करने के लिए 500 करोड़ रुपये का वेंचर फंड प्रस्तावित किया है। इस पहल का लक्ष्य एआई, क्वांटम टेक्नोलॉजी और सेमीकंडक्टर जैसे क्षेत्रों में अनुसंधान और विनिर्माण के लिए आईआईटी नेटवर्क का उपयोग करना है। फंड के तहत आधे स्टार्टअप्स को राज्य में अपना परिचालन स्थापित करना होगा।
